Deactivating Google Earth Plus, Pro or EC. Five Cool, Easy Things You Can Do in Google Earth. There are exposed methods in SimConnect or if the ultimate king - FSUIPC - to go around all that, but for now it cannot be done solely from the sim interface. That’s also the reason why controllers are separated, we cannot combine keys/buttons from two or more different controllers, etc. That’s also the reason why the camera modes are separated, like you have unique set of Instrument bindings, External bindings, Drone, etc. That was the most viable design in order for the sim to be able to…be used with the…console controller… It is actually the similar mechanism with the state the Drone Camera is in. In that mode airplane controls are disabled in favor of camera controls. The thing is - it should work that way, it works as designed - when you press “freelook mode”…be it the “hold” one that turns-off when you release the button or the one that you have to toggle on/off…you go into a certain “mode”. If you use that automatic instrument camera switching, then you need the Focus mode.Īs far as the thing with not being able to control anything while controlling the cam (while using freelook) - it’s not actually bug, even though everyone calls it that way and it’s become a legendary one. Now one more thing regarding the focus mode (predefined automatic zoom). Now bind all your stuff the same way, you do not have to change any single thing, just make the exact same buttons and commands bound in that new profile as they were in your old. Then delete everything from it by clicking the “Clear/empty profile” button And it’s not the case 100% with everyone because it depends on the mouse bindings that were in the existing profile (unusual and kinda complicated situation). Mouse profile that was in use got corrupted, very unusual. There’s a very high chance that the existing mouse profiles have become corrupted after this update. I discovered something and I would like to share it now: I do not use default bindings, I didn’t even look at them when the sim released last year, I created my own right away cuz like…home cockpit chaos and stuff… Well, the automatic preconfigured zoom is the effect of “TOGGLE COCKPIT FOCUS MODE”.ĭelete that binding form “Right click” and no more auto-zoom… There…now if I remember everything correctly, you should have no issues - and your zoom will work ONLY when you press and hold the right mouse button…so only when you are already manipulating camera, you can also rotate your wheel and it will go zoom in zoom out, woosh woosh waa, etc…Īha, okay, so you wanna have the mid-button that yout toggle the “zoom mode” on, then press it again and you turn off the zoom mode (let’s call it like that) ? INSTRUMENT VIEW SELECTION - set to "MANUAL" Set “Wheel down” for “ Unzoom Cockpit (lockable)” - also DELETE the OLD catastrophic one Set “Wheel up” for “ Zoom Cockpit (lockable)” - DELETE that catastrophic OLD oneĦ. Delete the “Mid click” for “ External View Freelook”…ĥ. Delete the “Wheel down” for " Cockpit Interaction Decrease (LOCKABLE)…like wow…"Ĥ. Delete the “Mid click” for " Toggle Instrument View Freelook"ģ. Delete the “Mid click” for " Toggle Cockpit Freelook"Ģ. Sorry I just checked out the default stuff and there’s more sooo :ġ.
